Samsung Galaxy X – The Folding Mobile Phone
Most Smartphone Brands including Samsung, Huawei and Apple are working on innovating a foldable mobile phone. But Samsung is more focused and prepared to maintain its superiority by introducing Worlds-First Foldable Smartphone; The Samsung Galaxy X. Samsung has an edge in hardware in comparison with other brands including Apple. Even the Smartphone Panels used in iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max and iPhone XR was bought from Samsung.
There were rumors about Samsung Galaxy X in the past but Samsung Mobile President MR. DJ Koh is optimistic about achieving their goals very soon and becoming the first to introduce the Foldable Smartphone.
Samsung Galaxy X: Expected Release Date and Specifications
Speaking to the press at the unveiling of Samsung Galaxy Note 9, Mr. Koh said that they don’t want to lose “The World’s First“ title for this remarkable achievement. This might worry Samsung customers that Samsung might compromise on features of Samsung Galaxy X to win this race. But wait, there is more to his statement. Mr. Koh emphasized on focusing to develop innovations that will be genuinely accepted and liked by our customers.
Samsung is the World’s Largest Smartphone Manufacturer in the World as of 2018. Samsung holds a huge share of 20.9% of Global Smartphone Market. Obviously, they cannot take the risk of harming their image by creating a device resembling Samsung Note 7 just to win a title.
Sources at ZDNet reported that Mr. Koh has confirmed that the reveal of Galaxy X is not far away. Samsung has already resolved all complications and issues relating to the design and screen of the phone. The last 12 Months have given strong indications that Samsung might unveil Galaxy X at CES 2019. Galaxy X is reported to come up with 6000 mAh Battery and carry Price Tag of around $2000 USD.
We can also expect Galaxy X to be the world’s first 5G Smartphone. Mr. DJ Koh gave a hint that we are working on a 5G capable Smartphone and it is going to a “Separate One”, and not the Samsung Galaxy S10.
Mr. DJ Koh also confirmed there is going to be a whole new series of Foldable Phones. He said, “We wouldn’t have started the Project if it was going to be a one-time thing”.
